Fellow Holden Car Clubs and Enthusiasts

What a record-breaking year the 2007 AHD Display was with record entries (746) thanks to you, the Holden Clubs and Enthusiasts from NSW and interstate. Incorporated in our display this year we had a very successful tribute to the great Peter Brock (RIP) with many Brock road cars and a couple of race cars on show. This year we were able to give over $25,000 to local volunteer groups and charities (list attached) thanks to over 11,000 people coming through the gates over the weekend. Also this year we had another very successful 2 Day Swap Meet with approx 350 swappers attending.

This scale of event is not possible without Sponsors coming on board. The All Holden Day would not run as smoothly as it does without all our volunteers, helpers, charities, committee members and host car club. I would like to thank our retiring committee members for all their years of dedication to this event.  I would like to particularly thank Jim Salmon (President over the last few years), Mark Kendrigan (Vice President) and Vicki Salmon (Entrant Secretary).  These people, along with other retiring committee members have really helped to grow the All Holden Day over the last few years and a BIG THANKYOU for the time and effort they have put into this event.

A new 2008 Committee has been elected headed by Stephen Short (President) & John Brown (Vice President).  This committee is focused on continuing to build upon the reputation that the AHD has enjoyed over past years.  2008 brings with it 60years of Holden, 50years of FC, 40years of Monaro and 30years of Commodore.  We will be celebrating some of these milestones during next years All Holden Day.

The President and Vice President would like to hear from any of you who might have constructive suggestions, questions or just need general information for the up and coming event which will be held on Sunday 3rd August 2008 along with a two day Swap Meet Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August.  Please contact us through either the AHD phone number, email or website listed below.
